Matala honored the most innovative product on IFEX 2015. This product is truly inspired by the concept of smart living and smart office/working, creating balance and promoting harmony living. It transformed Indonesian traditional material into a product with contemporary design spirit. Combining the modern manufacturing process and delicate details from our local Indonesia craftsmen, has brought the real beauty and comfort to Matala. The rattan frame of the chair is made from Manau Rattan, which is considered as the strongest but flexible rattan from the other species and with the help of modern technology; we use “rattan dowel” process to enhance the lasting endurance of the product and seamless design.
